The Toronto Blue Jays acquired starting pitcher Ross Stripling from the Los Angeles Dodgers for two players to be named later.
Stripling will likely join the backend of the Blue Jays' rotation. He's struggled with a 5.61 ERA through 33 2/3 innings (seven starts) this season, but the right-hander has a 3.68 ERA for his career.
Stripling averaged 20.2 FanDuel points per game for the Blue Jays this season. numberFire's models expect him to record a 5.29 ERA and 1.33 WHIP with 25 strikeouts and 8 walks over the remainder of the season.
