David Peterson (shoulder) heading to Mets' mound for Game 2
New York Mets pitcher David Peterson (shoulder) will start Game 2 against the New York Yankees on Friday.
Peterson will need to be activated from the 10-day injured list to make that happen. He was placed there last Tuesday with some minor left shoulder inflammation. Michael Wacha will start Game 1 for the Mets on Friday.
Peterson is averaging 29.3 FanDuel points per game this year. The 24-year-old left-hander owns a 2.91 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 17 strikeouts and 8 walks across his first 21 2/3 innings in the majors.
