Pedro Severino (hip) out of Orioles' lineup versus Rays
Baltimore Orioles catcher Pedro Severino (right hip flexor tightness) in the starting lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Tyler Glasnow and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Severino departed Sunday's game against the Red Sox due to right hip flexor tightness. Chance Sisco will shift to catcher and hit sixth while Ryan Mountcastle plays designated hitter. Mason Williams will make a start in left field and hit eighth. Rio Ruiz will move up to the cleanup spot on Tuesday.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Orioles have the lowest implied total (3.12 runs) on Tuesday's slate. Severino has posted a career-high .333 batting average with a .981 OPS this season.
