Taylor Jones is not in the Houston Astros' lineup for Sunday's game against the San Diego Padres.
What It Means:
Jones will take a seat with Michael Brantley (quad) returning to the lineup Sunday after a stint on the 10-day injured list.
The rookie has been a solid surprise for the Astros this season while filling in for the team's banged up veterans. Over 18 plate appearances he's posted a .235 batting average and has homered once.
