The Oakland Athletics did not include Austin Allen in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Allen gave Sean Murphy a breather in Saturday's game, but with Murphy back in the lineup Allen will sit this one out.
The second-year pro has 32 plate appearances this season, but is batting just .194 and has only 1 home run.
