Yadier Molina (COVID-19) cleared, starting for Cardinals on Thursday
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina (COVID-19) is active for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Sonny Gray and the Cincinnati Reds.
Molina will replace Andrew Knizner at catcher and hit eighth in his first game since missing three weeks with the coronavirus. The Cardinals placed Matt Wieters on the 10-day injured list with a toe contusion in a corresponding roster move.
Molina averaged 3.7 FanDuel points per game before going down. He's 4-for-18 (.222) with 2 strikeouts.
