New York Mets utility-man Jeff McNeil (knee) was forced to leave Thursday's game against the Washington Nationals in the first inning.
What It Means:
McNeil is day-to-day after suffering a left knee bone contusion while making a catch in the first inning. Expect Andres Gimenez to see more at-bats while McNeil is out.
In 58 at-bats this season, McNeil is batting .293 with seven RBI and four extra-base hits.
