Houston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley is out of Wednesday's starting lineup against the San Francisco Giants.
Brantley will rest on Wednesday after the Astros named George Springer as Houston's starting designated hitter against the Giants.
In 56 at-bats this season, Brantley is hitting .286 with one home run and eight RBI.
