Billy Hamilton in center field for Mets on Tuesday
New York Mets outfielder Billy Hamilton is starting on Tuesday versus right-hander Max Scherzer and the Washington Nationals due to a stomach issue.
Hamilton will man center field and hit ninth. He's 0-for-10 with 5 strikeouts this season. Brandon Nimmo will move to left field and the top of the order. Jeff McNeil will replace Brian Dozier as the Mets' designated hitter.
