Washington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles is starting in Monday's series opener against left-hander Steven Matz and the New York Mets.
Robles will replace Michael Taylor in center field and hit ninth after sitting out Sunday. His batting average has fallen from .304 to .222 in August.
