A's Khris Davis not listed as a starter Sunday
The Oakland Athletics did not list Khris Davis in Sunday's lineup against the Houston Astros.
Davis will sit this one out in favor of switch-hitter Robbie Grossman against Astros righty Cristian Javier. Davis has had a slow start to the 2020 season, and has been sitting against right-handed pitchers.
Davis is batting just 0.167 in his 40 plate appearances this season, but our models project him to hit his stride before the season ends. He's projected to make 174 more plate appearances, with 12 homers, 27 runs, 31 RBI, and a 0.261 batting average.
