Nationals' Max Scherzer (hamstring) throwing bullpen session on Saturday
Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Saturday.
Scherzer was pulled from his Wednesday start after just one inning due to an issue with his hamstring. His involvement in a bullpen session today is a good sign that he will be able to make his next scheduled start on Tuesday against the New York Mets.
numberFire's models project Scherzer for 7.3 strikeouts, 2.5 earned runs, and 37.6 FanDuel points in 6 and 1/3 innings pitched against the Mets on Tuesday.
