Miami Marlins infielder Jon Berti is not in the lineup on Friday in the team's game against the New York Mets.
Berti is being replaced at shortstop by Jonathan Villar against Mets starter Michael Wacha.
In 24 plate appearances this season, Berti has a .182 batting average and a .477 OPS.
