Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco is not starting in Friday's matchup against the Detroit Tigers.
Polanco will sit against the Tigers after the Pirates announced Phillip Evans would start at right field on Friday.
In 23 at-bats this season, Polanco is batting .087 with one home run and five RBI.
