David Bote on Cubs' bench Thursday
Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote is not starting in Thursday's series finale against right-hander Brad Keller and the Kansas City Royals.
Bote has gone 0-for-12 with 5 strikeouts in his last four games after a strong start to the year. Nico Hoerner will move to second base on Thursday while Ian Happ makes the start in center field.
numberFire's models expect Bote to bat .254 with a homer, 8 RBI, 10 scores, and 2 steals over the rest of the season.
