Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell is not in Thursday's lineup against the Seattle Mariners due to tightness in his quad, per Angels manager Joe Maddon.
Maddon indicated that Adell should be fine after a day or two. Brian Goodwin will replace Adell in right field on Thursday and hit seventh.
