Greg Garcia sitting for Padres Monday
Greg Garcia will not start Monday night for the San Diego Padres as they take on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
What It Means:
Garcia started yesterday's game at third base, but tonight Manny Machado will resume his usual role at third while switch-hitter Abraham Almonte will bat as the designated hitter.
Garcia isn't projected to make much of an impact over the rest of this season. Our models currently have him making 27 more plate appearances, with 1 home run, 2 runs, and a 0.217 batting average.
