Joey Votto (COVID-19) active, starting for Reds on Monday
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto (COVID-19) is starting in Monday's series opener against right-hander Zach Plesac and the Cleveland Indians.
Votto was placed on the injured list Sunday after reporting some symptoms. His COVID-19 test has since come back negative, so Votto will be back on first base and batting second just over 24 hours later. Nick Castellanos will bat third and Eugenio Suarez will hit fifth. Matt Davidson is out of the starting lineup after covering first base in the second half of Sunday's doubleheader.
numberFire's models expect Votto to score 10.5 FanDuel points on Monday. He costs $3,000.
