Milwaukee's Lorenzo Cain opts out of 2020 season
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain will not play the remainder of the 2020 seaosn.
According to general manager David Stearns, Cain told the team on Saturday he has decided to opt out of the 2020 season. "Lorenzo Cain has informed us that he will not participate for the remainder of the 2020 season. " said Hearn. "We fully support Lorenzo’s decision, and will miss his talents on the field and leadership in the clubhouse.”
Expect Ben Gamel to see more playing time in the outfield with Cain now opting out.
