Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Starling Marte is starting in Thursday's series opener against right-hander Ross Stripling and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Marte will replace Jon Jay in center field and hit third after taking a breather on Wednesday. He hit safely in each of the first five games, going 7-for-19 (.368) with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 4 runs scored. Marte is followed in the order by Eduardo Escobar, Christian Walker, David Peralta, and Jake Lamb.
