Joe Panik riding pine for Blue Jays against Nationals
Toronto Blue Jays infielder Joe Panik is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Erick Fedde and the Washington Nationals.
Panik is out of the lineup after helping fill the void in the infield while Bo Bichette was dealing with a hamstring issue. Brandon Drury will make the start at third base on Thursday.
