Moustakas tested negative for COVID-19 but can't play until Thursday, according to Reds' teammate Nick Castellanos.
What It Means:
Nick Senzel (illness) also reportedly tested negative. Moustakas has been on the injured list since Sunday, while Senzel was scratched prior to Sunday's game. Assuming Castellanos' reporting is accurate, both players could return for the Reds series finale against the Chicago Cubs on Thursday.
In 9 at-bats this season, Moustakas has struck out 2 times and produced 4 RBI, 1 run, and 1 homer.
