David Peterson on 5-inning limit for Mets in debut Tuesday
New York Mets pitcher David Peterson is expected to throw around five innings and 80-100 pitches on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox in his MLB debut, per Mets manager Luis Rojas.
The Mets have taken a conservative approach with their starters in the season's beginnings. Peterson had a 4.19 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 122 strikeouts and 37 walks over 116 innings at the Triple-A level last season.
numberFire's models project Peterson for 14.7 FanDuel points on Tuesday. He costs $5,500.
