Mets' Dominic Smith sitting versus Red Sox
New York Mets first baseman/outfielder Dominic Smith is not starting on Tuesday versus left-hander Matt Hall and the Boston Red Sox.
Smith hit a 3-run homer on Monday in his first start of the season while filling in for Yoenis Cespedes as the Mets' designated hitter. He will likely require an injury to see regular at-bats this season.
numberFire's models expect Smith to bat .237 with 4 homers, 11 RBI, and 14 scores in 106 plate appearances over the rest of the season.
