Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw (back) throws 15-pitch session

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (back) threw a 15-pitch bullpen session on Sunday.

What It Means:

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Kershaw will throw off a mound again on Tuesday. We should then have a clearer sense of when Kershaw might be able to make his season debut after the left-hander was a sudden scratch on Opening Night due to back stiffness. Dustin May was called upon to fill in.

numberFire's models currently expect Kershaw to record a 3.44 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with a 26.6 strikeout percentage this season.
