Garrett Cooper on Marlins' bench versus Phillies
Miami Marlins first baseman/outfielder/designated hitter Garrett Cooper is not starting in Sunday's series finale against right-hander Vince Velasquez and the Philadelphia Phillies.
What It Means:
Cooper started at DH in the opener and then first base on Saturday. Jesus Aguilar will be on first base and batting cleanup on Sunday while Jonathan Villar will take care of DH responsibilities at the top of the order. Isan Diaz will start at second base and hit seventh.
