Jake Odorizzi (back) to begin season on Twins' injured list
Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi will start the season on the injured list.
Odorizzi is dealing with some back tightness, and it's serious enough to put him on the shelf to begin the 2020 campaign. However, the team is backdating the move, so the veteran pitcher will be eligible to rejoin the team in the third series of the year against Cleveland.
Before this news, our models projected Odorizzi for a 4.38 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP, 67 strikeouts and 22 walks across 59.6 innings of work.
