Tommy Milone making Orioles' Opening Day start

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Tommy Milone will start Friday on Opening Day against the Boston Red Sox, per Orioles manager Brandon Hyde.

What It Means:

John Means had to be replaced due to arm fatigue. The Orioles will become the fifth team Milone has pitched for over a four-season span when the 33-year-old left-hander makes his first career Opening Day start at Fenway Park on Friday. He had a 4.76 ERA and 94 strikeouts over 23 appearances (six starts) and 111 2/3 innings for the Seattle Mariners last season.

numberFire's models expect Milone to record a 5.07 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with a 19.7 strikeout percentage this season.
