Twins' Jake Odorizzi (back) scratched from Sunday start
Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi was scratched from his start in a Sunday intrasquad game.
Odorizzi is reportedly dealing with upper back stiffness, which has ailed him on-and-off over the last few days. According to manager Rocco Baldelli, it's not expected to be a long-term issue, but it seems as though the team will play it safe. There's no word on whether he'll miss any time this season.
Our models currently project Odorizzi for a 4.38 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP, 67 strikeouts and 22 walks across 59.6 innings pitched.
