Boston's Eduardo Rodriguez (COVID-19) throws bullpen session Sunday

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez threw a successful bullpen session Sunday.

What It Means:

This was Rodriguez' first official activity with the team since returning from a multi-week layoff due to a positive COVID-19 test result. Unlike many others who tested positive, Rodriguez did have some symptoms from the virus which kept him from throwing for quite a bit. It's still unclear if he'll remain on the injured list as the regular season nears its start.

Our models currently project Rodriguez for a 4.20 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP, 55 strikeouts and 18 walks across 51.4 innings pitched.
