Orioles' John Means (arm) scratched from Sunday start

Baltimore Orioles' pitcher John Means is dealing with a dead arm and will not make his scheduled start on Sunday.

What It Means:

Means is currently penciled in as the Orioles' Opening Day starter and while that isn't expected to change, his status should be monitored. Thomas Eshelman will start in his place on Sunday. Means will have six days to recover before his expected start against the Boston Red Sox on July 24th.

numberFire's models project Means for a 5.01 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 53 strikeouts, 14 walks, and 4 wins in 65 1/3 innings pitched this season.
