Braves select Josh Tomlin's contract from Triple-A roster
Atlanta Braves pitcher Josh Tomlin officially joined the active roster on Saturday.
What It Means:
Tomlin will return for his second season with Atlanta after the Braves purchased his contract from their Triple-A roster. The veteran right-hander will likely see time out of the bullpen or rotation in the early parts of the season with the Braves utilizing a piggyback approach.
Tomlin's current projection includes a 4.62 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 15 total innings.
