According to manager Ron Roenicke, Rodriguez should be able to join team's workouts in a short period of time. At this point, the left-hander will likely miss his first turn in Boston's rotation.
Rodriguez's current yearly projection includes a 4.20 ERA and 55 strikeouts in 51 total innings.
