Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Chase Anderson played catch Wednesday as he recovers from a strained oblique.
Anderson strained his oblique over the weekend during some pitching drills, and he's expected to start the season on the injured list as a result. Him getting back to baseball activities is a good sign for his recovery, but he's likely a ways away from being placed on the active roster.
Our models currently project Anderson for a 4.92 ERA with a 1.31 WHIP, 49 strikeouts and 18 walks across 54.9 innings of work this season.
