Eduardro Rodriguez (COVID-19) placed on Red Sox's 10-day IL
The Boston Red Sox placed starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (COVID-19) on the 10-day injured list.
Rodriguez is still in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19. Nathan Eovaldi now appears to be the favorite for the Red Sox's Opening Day start. Rodriguez pitched a 3.81 ERA with 213 strikeouts (9th in the American League) over 203 1/3 innings last year. The Red Sox also placed left-handers Darwinzon Hernandez and Josh Taylor on the 10-day IL.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Red Sox are tied for having the 12th-worst odds (+4300) to win the 2020 World Series.
