Aaron Judge (neck) still out for Yankees
New York Yankees (neck) outfielder Aaron Judge is out of the starting lineup again for Tuesday's intrasquad game.
What It Means:
This is Judge's fourth straight day on the sidelines due to neck stiffness. There was some hope he would be able to return on Tuesday, but Judge is still expected to be ready for Opening Day on July 23 against the Washington Nationals. Judge slashed .272/.381/.540 with 27 homers, 55 RBI, and 75 runs scored across 447 plate appearances last season. He hasn't recorded an OPS above .921 either of the last two years after posting a 1.049 OPS in his first full season in the majors. The slugger turned 28 in April.
numberFire's models expect Judge to bat .272 with a .908 OPS this season while tallying 13 homers, 32 RBI, and 37 runs scored over 219 plate appearances.
