Tigers' Travis Demeritte takes live BP
Detroit Tigers outfielder Travis Demeritte (groin) took batting practice on Tuesday.
Demeritte missed the past four intrasqaud games due to groin soreness. The 25-year-old is competing for a reserve outfield role in 2020. He slashed .225/.286/.343 with a 33.9 strikeout percentage last year over his 186 plate appearances in the majors.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Tigers are tied for having the worst odds (+30000) to win the 2020 World Series.
