Richie Martin (wrist) put on Orioles 60-day IL
The Baltimore Orioles placed shortstop Richie Martin on the 60-day injured list with a fractured right wrist.
Martin fractured his wrist while sliding into a base during an intrasquad game Friday. He's expected to miss 2-3 months, making it unlikely that Martin makes it to the field this season. Pat Valaika and Andrew Velazquez could make more starts with Martin unavailable.
Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Orioles are tied for having the worst odds (+30000) to win the 2020 World Series.
