Victor Reyes (undisclosed) arrives at Tigers camp

Detroit Tigers outfielder Victor Reyes arrived for his first summer camp workout on Thursday, per hitting coach Joe Vavra.

What It Means:

Reyes had been absent for an undisclosed reason. After hitting .222 with a .527 OPS as a rookie, Reyes cranked out a .304 average and .767 OPS last year. He carried that into the spring, going 10-for-28 (.357) with a .831 OPS. The 25-year-old has also recorded 18 steals in 511 career plate appearances. Reyes could potentially beat out Christin Stewart for the Tigers' left field job before Opening Day.

numberFire's models expect Reyes to post a .267 batting average and .682 OPS with 2 homers, 13 RBI, 14 runs scored, and 4 steals over 129 plate appearances this season.
