Brad Brach (undisclosed) missing from Mets
New York Mets reliever Brad Brach has yet to report to summer camp, according to Mets manager Luis Rojas.
Rojas didn't offer any details. Brach signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with New York in December. He's expected to work in middle relief for the Mets. The 34-year-old right-hander recorded a 3.68 ERA with 15 strikeouts over 14 2/3 innings (16 appearances) for the Mets last season after joining the team in August.
numberFire's models project Brach for a 4.17 ERA and 1.53 WHIP with 25 strikeouts and 11 walks over 21 2/3 innings this season. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Mets have the eighth-best odds (+2200) to win the 2020 World Series.
