Cleveland Indians outfielder Franmil Reyes is currently isolating from the team after reportedly attending a social event on July 4th.
The Indians will have Reyes stay in isolation as a precaution after spending time at a recent celebration without masks. "He’s not in the penalty box. I want to make that perfectly clear," said manager Terry Francona about Reyes' current status. "It’s just how we have to operate right now. He was extremely apologetic.”
Look for Reyes to reclaim his designated hitting role after he is cleared to return. The Cleveland slugger's yearly projection includes a .254 batting average with 12 home runs and 31 RBI in 177 total at-bats.
