Rays' Chaz Roe absence due to blister
Tampa Bay Rays reliever Chaz Roe was absent from the weekend workouts due to a blister on his finger.
Roe got to work on Monday after missing the initial workouts. The veteran right-hander is expected to work mostly in middle relief for the Rays this season. Roe allowed just 2 hits over five scoreless innings with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk across five Grapefruit League appearances before spring training was suspended.
numberFire's models expect Roe to record a 4.02 ERA and 1.40 WHIP with 22 strikeouts, 9 walks, and 2 home runs allowed in 18 innings in 2020.
