Diamondbacks' Kole Calhoun tests positive for coronavirus

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kole Calhoun has tested positive for COVID-19, per Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo.

What It Means:

Lovullo added that Calhoun is asymptomatic and feeling great. He will need to have two negative COVID-19 tests before getting cleared to return. Calhoun is expected to be the Diamondbacks' everyday right fielder after signing a two-year, $16 million free agent deal back in December. He hit a career-high 33 home runs across 632 plate appearances (152 games) last season with the Los Angeles Angels.

numberFire's models expect Calhoun to hit .238 with 9 homers, 27 RBI, and 29 runs scored across 215 plate appearances.
