Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton (calf) said he feels 100%
New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton said his calf feels 100% and that he would be able to DH when the season begins.
Stanton strained his right calf back in February and was likely to miss the original season opener, but the delayed start gave him plenty of time to rest and recover. He will be batting cleanup on Monday night's intrasquad game as well, which bodes well for his availability when the season begins later this month.
numberFire projects Stanton to bat 0.266 with 14 home runs, 31 runs, 36 RBI, and 1 stolen base in 2020.
