Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Carlos Rodon threw three innings of a simulated game Sunday.
Rodon pitched 45 pitches, the equivalent of three innings, as he continues to rehabilitate from his Tommy John surgery last May. The 27-year-old told reporters he's ready to fill any role available, whether that's in the rotation or as a long-relief option out of the pen.
In seven games last season, Rodon pitched to a 5.19 ERA with a 1.44 WHIP, 46 strikeouts and 17 walks.
