Milwaukee Brewers pitching coach Chris Hook 'wouldn't commit' to saying pitcher Corey Knebel (elbow) would be available for opening day.
Knebel underwent Tommy John surgery to repair his elbow last year and was looking 'really sharp' in a 15-pitch live-batting session, but may not be quite ready to pitch by the season opener. We'll know more as the season approaches.
Assuming Knebel is able to make a successful return, numberFire projects him to pitch for a 4.57 ERA with 32 strikeouts to 7 walks and 4 home runs allowed in 2020.
