Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez has tested positive for COVID-19.
What It Means:
Kansas City's star catcher will remain in quarantine for 12 more days before he is tested again. Cam Gallagher should see more playing time behind the plate if Perez were to miss any time.
Perez's yearly projection includes a .251 batting average with 9 home runs and 27 RBI in 171 total at-bats.
