Washington Nationals infielder Carter Kieboom is expected to start at third base "as of right now".
According to manager Davey Martinez, Kieboom is sketched in as Washington's first-string third baseman after the Nationals lost valuable infield depth with Ryan Zimmerman's recent opt-out. Expect Asdrubal Cabrera to substitute for Kieboom if the 22-year old struggles during the start of the season.
Kieboom's yearly projection includes a .203 batting average with 5 home runs and 15 RBI in 123 total at-bats.
