Braves pitcher Cole Hamels says shoulder 'feels great'
Following a bullpen session, Atlanta Braves pitcher Cole Hamels said his shoulder 'feels great.'
Hamels also said he probably would have been ready by the end of May before the shutdown, but he slowed down the rehabbing in the months since. The Braves will probably manage the 36-year-old's workload at the start of the season, especially considering their likelihood of making a strong playoff run.
numberFire currently projects Hamels for a 4.23 ERA with 63 strikeouts to 24 walks, and 9 home runs allowed.
