Pirates place Chris Archer (neck) on 60-day injured list
Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Chris Archer (neck) was placed on the 60-day injured list retroactive to June 28th.
After undergoing neck surgery in June, Archer is expected to miss the entire upcoming regular season. Expect Mitch Keller to play a major role in Pittsburgh's rotation with several starting options also sidelined with injuries.
For the 2020 regular season, Keller's current yearly projection includes a 4.17 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 45.3 innings pitched.
